Budapest Stock Exchange
  The only Hungarian stock exchange which reopened in June 1990 after being closed for 42 years. Currently (1992) the exchange trades 21 shares, of which 7 are actually listed, one government bond and one institutional bond. Options are also traded informally between exchange members. In 1991, turnover was Ft10.2 billion with a daily volume averaging Ft40 million. In 1992 the BSE had 48 members. See also Budapest Commodities Exchange.
